Starting school is an exciting milestone and we endeavour to support every child prepare for this transition while they are in our care. At Choyces we have Early Childhood Teachers who provide a play-based learning program which supports children to develop the skills they will require for school. The program follows the Early Years Learning Framework and addresses physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and language domains. A strong focus is placed on early literacy and early numeracy skills and engagement with a focus on developing a love of learning through inquiry into their world. By supporting children to develop important foundational skills we believe they will have the best chance of success and reaching their full potential when they enter the school environment.
